| 内容記述 | 本研究は、同一人物における援助行動と被援助行動の関連性を明らかにすることを目的とし、高齢者大学の受講生、677名(57歳から88歳、平均年齢67.5,SD=4.6)に対して、日常生活において経験する援助行動と被援助行動の両方とそれらについての感想や援助と被援助に関する基本的な考え方などを、質問紙法により調査した。その結果、1)ある人が行う援助行動が多様であればあるほど、彼らの被援助行動も多様であること、2)日々の援助行動が成功的であると認識する人ほど、彼らの援助行動に対する態度と被援助行動に対する態度は一層肯定的であること、3)日々の被援助行動が成功的であると認識する人ほど、彼らの被援助行動に対する態度と援助行動に対する態度は一層肯定的であること、4)援助行動に対する態度が肯定的な人ほど、援助行動や被援助行動に一層積極的に動機づけられていること、5)被援助行動に対する態度が肯定的な人ほど、被援助行動や援助行動に一層積極的に動機づけられていること、などが明らかとなった。これらの結果は、日々の援助行動や被援助行動の経験が、態度や動機づけの変化を介して、将来の援助行動や被援助行動に影響を及ぼすことを示唆している。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The relationship between help-giving and help-seeking-receiving by the same person was investigated. Elderly people attending an institute for adult education (N=677 ; age 57-88 years, mean age 67.5, SD=4.6) participated in the study. They completed questionnaires that assessed the following variables: experience of everyday helping behaviors as a helper and as a help recipient ; psychological reactions to helping experienced by the helper and the recipient ; basic view of helping behaviors and attitudes regarding help-giving, as well as attitudes regarding help-seeking-receiving including the motivation for help-giving and the motivation for help-seeking-receiving. The results indicated the following: (1) A positive relationship was seen between the diversity of help-giving behaviors and the diversity of help seeking-receiving: (2) The recognition of success of everyday help-giving by the helper positively changed the helper's attitudes about help-giving and help-seeking-receiving: (3) The recognition of success in everyday help-seeking-receiving by the recipient positively changed the recipient's attitudes about help-giving and help-seeking-receiving: (4) Positive attitudes about help-giving were positively correlated with increased motivation for help-giving and help-seeking-receiving: (5) Positive attitudes about help-seeking-receiving were positively correlated with increased motivation for help-giving and help-seeking-receiving. These results suggest that everyday helping behavior increases future helping behavior by both helper and recipient. | |||||
