| 内容記述 | 高度経済成長期に開発された団地では、集合住宅団地であるか戸建て住宅団地であるかにかかわらず、同一世代が同一時期に多数入居するということが生じた。同一世代が多数入居することは、入居当時において、優良なコミュニティの形成に資するとされたが、これらの世代がそのまま居住を継続した場合、団地全体が高齢化するという問題が生じる。こうした団地の高齢化現象は、現在、日本各地で確認されており、少子化、人口減少、コミュニティ機能の衰退の問題が多く議論されてきた。こうした議論がある一方で、団地の高齢化が階層的な課題を拡大したり、階層的な課題から転出が抑制されたり、さらに、そのことが地域全体の階層の変化を生んだりするといった問題に着目した研究はこれまでなかった。いいかえると、団地全体の高齢化によって生じる課題をマクロ、ミクロな階層問題の視点から検討しようとする試みはなかったといえる。本稿では、マクロ、ミクロな「階層問題としての団地高齢化」の課題を整理し、それに対応する現象が実際に生じているのかを大阪府下の団地居住者を対象としたインターネット調査データによって検討した。より具体的には、団地を戸建て住宅団地、公営集合住宅団地、UR集合住宅団地に三区分し、年齢、階層関連変数、地域コミットメントなどの多次元プロフィールをもとに、自己組織化マップ(SOM)を用いてクラスタリングすることによって検討した。自己組織化マップの分析結果から、公営集合住宅団地においてマクロ・ミクロな「階層問題としての団地高齢化」がすでに顕現している可能性が確認された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | "Danchi" refers to housing complexes and tract-house developments in Japan. During the period of high economic growth in the late 1950s and 1960s, a situation emerged in which younger generations simultaneously started living in "Danchi" on a large scale. At that time, this situation was considered desirable for the development of a community in the "Danchi" area. However, it has recently become clear that ageing in "Danchi" will inevitably emerge as a problem, as a result of this situation. Aging, which can be observed in many "Danchi" areas developed in the period of high economic growth, has become a critical problem in contemporary Japan. In this article, we attempted to investigate this problem empirically through the perspective of social stratification theory. For this purpose, we conducted an online survey of "Danchi" dwellers in Osaka Prefecture and analyzed the survey data using self-organizing maps (SOM), a kind of clustering method. The results of the analysis suggest that the aged dwellers in such municipal housing complexes are facing the problem of deprivation of life chances, which is closely connected to their positions in the social stratification system. | |||||
