| 内容記述 | Two Years' Course of Study in the Chinese Language is a textbook for the study of Nanjing Mandarin published in 1913. It proposed what was, at the time, a radical new approach to achieving mastery of the Chinese language—systematic study of a carefully limited and clearly defined set of Chinese characters and vocabulary. This paper provides bibliographic information concerning this text and a description of the study methods it proposes, and appends an index of the vocabulary it employs as reference for future research in basic vocabulary. | |||||
