 note = {Two Years' Course of Study in the Chinese Language is a textbook for the study of Nanjing Mandarin published in 1913. It proposed what was, at the time, a radical new approach to achieving mastery of the Chinese language—systematic study of a carefully limited and clearly defined set of Chinese characters and vocabulary.
