| 内容記述 | 本稿はグループホーム1) に入所する認知症高齢者の家族に対し、介護の質に関する意識調査を行ったものである。回答に協力を得た家族の9割弱が介護の質を重視している。職員の態度、言葉遣い、身だしなみ、施設環境、行事・イベント、家族とのコミュニケーションについての満足度は高い。一方、排泄誘導やおむつ交換、買物の付き添い・外出支援などは満足度が低い。家族は施設側の繁忙や人手不足がつづくなか、教育研修や職員の定着等も併せて介護技術の向上等に課題を感じている。意思疎通がはかりにくい認知症高齢者に提供する介護の質に関しては事業者が常に意識をし、研修等で職員の介護技術を向上させ、利用者家族への情報公開も行う必要がある。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper shows the result of a survey about the quality of long-term care which conducted on families of elderly people with dementia who enter group homes. A little less than 90％ of the families who answered the survey consider the quality of long-term care is important. Although a lot of families are satisfied with staff attitudes, the way staffs talk and dress, facility environment, events, and communication with family members.The satisfaction on the quality of excretion care, diaper change, shopping attendance, and outing support, etc. are relatively low. They also feel that nursing care skills should be improved through education and training and staff retention even though the facilities are being very busy due to labor shortage. It is necessary for nursing care providers to always be aware of the quality of long-term care provided to elderly people with dementia who have communication difficulties, to improve staff skills through training, and to disclose information to families of the users. | |||||
