| 内容記述 | 本稿は， 1987年以来5年おきに継続的に調査してきた「大学生の意識と価値観」の第3回調査を基礎とした論稿である。本稿の狙いは，この10年の間の大学生の意識と価値観の変化を明らかにすることにある。調査の結果，以下の5点が大きく変化したものとして浮き上がってきた。1）男女関係のあり方に関する意識の変化， 2）社会関心と上昇志向の低下， 3）政治に対する関心と参加意欲の低下， 4）自衛隊に対する肯定的見方の増加， 5）大学別の意識差の縮小。しかし，確かにこうした意識は変化しているが，他方で，その根底にある｢やや個人主義的でありながら，他人との協調性を大事にし，大きな社会の変化を望まず，できることなら楽しく楽に暮らしていきたい」という価値観―筆者はこれを「個同保楽主義」と名付けている―自体は，大きな変化はしていないということも明らかになった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper discusses the consciousness and the values of college students today, based on the 1997 research that is the third questionnaire survey taken every five years since 1987. As a result of this research, it became clear that the following five points have changed largely: 1) There has been change in the way of thinking about relationships between men and women. 2) There has been decline in social concern and social ambition. 3) Political concern and motivation for political participation have declined. 4) Affirmative opinions on the Self-Defense Forces have increased. 5) Difference in attitude and opinion of students among colleges have reducted. It is certain that the above five points have changed, but the basic values leading to such consciousness have not changed largely. Those values are the ICCE values (Individualism, Conformism, Conservatism, Epicureanism) which I found to be the main values of Japanese young people in 1987. | |||||
