| 内容記述 | 最終戦争による世界の破滅を生き延ぴた修行者が、理想社会を建設する。そのような救済のヴィジョンを抱いていたオウム真理教は、1995年に地下鉄サリン事件を起こした。救済を目指すはずの修行者たちは、なぜ無差別のテロリズムを遂行したのか。この問題を、感情論理のネットワーク分析の視点から渡邊が考察する。宗教的に意味付与されたテロリズムは、献身の感情論理にもとづく。ソシオン理論によると、献身の感情論理は、否定の否定が肯定になる、という弁証法的なネットワーク動作として説明できる。真摯な自己否定は、他者への隷従を帰結する。このとき、献身の対象であるグルに対する不信や指示に従うことの迷いは、必ずしも献身のネットワークからの解放につながらない。オウムの修行者の感情論理においては、葛藤し、迷った挙げ旬に、結局指示に従ってしまうという構造があった。この構造は、現在自分が置かれている状況に対する疑問を抱いたときに、その状況から離脱することを不可能にする。不自由に気づくことが、さらなる不自由へと人を巻き込むようなネットワーク構造がある。閉ざされた環境において、批判的視点を確保する可能性について考察することが本稿の課題である。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In March 1995 the new religious order named Aum Shinrikyo suddenly attacked Tokyo subway system using chemical weapons. This unprecedented subway attack was conceived as a prelude to Armageddon predestinated before an utopia. We examine why religious seekers become such terrorists. Focusing on affective logic in social networks, the social psychological mechanism of devotion is explained. To analyze affective logic, we apply "socion theory" as a theoretical framework. The key concept of socion (socio+neuron) theory is the "trion", a triadic functional unit to generate positive (love) or negative (hate) expectations (semio-potential) through "balancing" culculations. The devotion of a cult member can be explained as a result of the trion calculation(NxN=P) in socion networks. The case study of Aum Shinrikyo terrorism by Watanabe indicated that the dynamics of socion networks drove members to engage in brutal activities. Socion theory is susceptible to provide a simpler framework to analyze and explain such a heavy tragedy of our civilized society. | |||||
