| 内容記述 | It is not easy to quantitatively assess the role of advertising in society given that it is an unquantifiable concepts. Today, thanks to onlime resources and data obtained from various fields, we can use big text data to investigate social phenomena. The Japan National Diet Library offers lists of articles on advertising published in magazines in Japan in the from of a text database (NDL-OPAC) which is open to the public. The author tries to use this database to understand if advertising serves as a social problem or a regulatory mechanism in society. | |||||
