| 内容記述 | 本稿の目標は，状況主義の批判に応答しうる徳認識論の規範的側面の可能性について検討することである．まずは，徳認識論の大枠をその歴史的背景にも触れつつ押さえる．次いで，認識論における記述と規範をめぐる問題を倫理学における同様の議論と比較しながら明確化する．そのうえで，状況主義と両立可能な徳認識論の構想を示したマーク・アルファノのCharacter as Moral Fiction における議論を再構成して示したい．最後に，徳認識論に関するアルファノの構想を検討することで，それが規範性をめぐる問題にどの程度うまく応答可能なのかを見きわめ，今後取り組むべき課題について簡単に論じる． | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper examines the possibility of a normative side to virtue epistemology that can respond to situationist criticism. First, it provides an overview of virtue epistemology, discussing its historical background. Second, it clarifies the problems with description and norm in epistemology by comparing them with those in ethics. Then, it reconstructs Mark Alfano's discussion in his Character as Moral Fiction, which attempts to demonstrate a framework of virtue epistemology that is compatible with situationism. Finally, by examining Alfano's framework, it evaluates how well it can respond to the issues of normativity and discusses some problems that may be deal with in future analysis. | |||||
