First, it provides an overview of virtue epistemology, discussing its historical background. Second, it clarifies the problems with description and norm in epistemology by comparing them with those in ethics. Then, it reconstructs Mark Alfano's discussion in his Character as Moral Fiction, which attempts to demonstrate a framework of virtue epistemology that is compatible with situationism.
