| 内容記述 | 本稿の目的はMLBのチームと対比して，NFLのチームが立地するための大都市圏を基準にした市場空間規模（成立閾人口）について考察することである。先行研究で明らかにされたMLBの立地過程に加えて，観客動員数の変動からMLBのチームの成立閾人口の変化について考察した。NFLのチームの立地過程を検討することによって収益分配制度の効果を明らかにした。収益分配制度はチームの経営を安定させるとともに，チームの立地競争を避けるために市場空間規模を大きくしない。また，スタジアムの共用の過程について分析して，NFLとMLBの2つのプロスポーツリーグのチームの集積効果を明らかにした。NFLのチームは当初は先行するMLBの球場などを借用するが，1960年代から多目的スタジアムの建設が始まり，やがて1990年から互いに専用スタジアムの建設が一般的になっていく。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to think about the size of market space (threshold population) on which a professional sports team is located in the metropolitan area in the USA. The change of the attendance of MLB teams indicates its change of threshold population in addition to the locational process of MLB teams which was in previous studies. To understand the locational process of NFL teams found the effect of revenue-sharing to the location of teams. Revenue-sharing system stabilizes the management of NFL teams, and does not expand the size of market space to avoid competition for locations of teams. Secondly, to analyze the share of stadium between NFL and MLB teams revealed the effect of agglomeration of two kinds of professional sports teams. After NFL teams borrowed baseball stadium in the earlier days and many multi-purpose stadiums was built in 1960s through 1970s, most of MLB and NFL teams have used separately a dedicated stadium since 1990s. | |||||
