| 内容記述 | 本稿では，産業集積研究において，人間と環境の複雑な相互作用を扱うことを可能にする方法論的枠組みについて探った。第一に，1990年代以降の知識，学習，イノベーションをめぐる制度論的（あるいは関係論的）な産業集積研究の代表的な議論の一つであるイノベーティブ・ミリュー論を取り上げ，その理論的な枠組みと課題を明らかにした。第二に，コンヴァンシオン経済学が，方法論的個人主義の回避，物的環境（モノ）の役割，市場構築とイノベーション論の展開について，ミリュー概念を拡張する可能性をもつことを示した。これは，今後，産業集積の制度論的な理解に変化を迫るものである。たとえば，創造産業が集まるような大都市集積は，イノベーティブ・ミリュー論が主張してきたようなコーディネーションと学習の機能に加えて，財の価値付けを担う市場的装置としても捉えられるのである。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study sought a new theoretical framework in industrial agglomeration studies, which would permit dealing with the complex interaction between humans and the environment. First, we examined the theory of innovative milieu as a representative debate of institutional approaches to industrial agglomeration since the 1990s. The theory underlies knowledge, learning and innovation over time and clarifies the theoretical standpoints and certain limitations. Second, we showed that reference to the economics of conventions (l'économie des conventions) extends the concept of innovation milieu to the avoidance of methodological individualism, consideration of the physical dimension of a milieu (things and space) and coherent logic articulating between local milieu and innovation (and/or valuation of goods). Such a theoretical extension could change how industrial agglomerations perform hereafter, especially in metropolitan areas characterised by the heavy concentration of creative industries. These are industrial agglomerations contributing not only to the economic coordination and collective learning but also to the valuation of goods. They function as a 'market device (dispositif)', making up the fundamental element for innovation. | |||||
