| 内容記述 | 現在日本は高齢化が進み、認知症高齢者の割合も増加していることから、高齢者への心理的援助が注目されるようになっている。本論文は、認知機能の低下が見られる高齢者との面接から、体験過程の様式についてジェンドリン（1999b）のパーソナリティ論を基に検討することを目的とする。注意機能の低下が推測される90代男性と、過去に約束が覚えられず、意思疎通に齟齬があった70代女性と面接を行う。状況の変化に関わらず同じ内容が繰り返し語られ、気持ちに触れずに出来事を語るという前者の事例の特徴から、認知機能の低下がみられる高齢者の体験過程様式は構造拘束されていることが示唆された。後者の事例では気持ちを明確に言語化できてはいないが、気持ちに触れようとする試みがされており、双方向的なコミュニケーションが困難である前者の事例と比べると、構造拘束の程度が軽いと考えられた。これより、構造拘束の程度が重度であると体験過程の暗在の働きが生じにくくなり、疎通性も低くなることが示された。また、体験過程の構造拘束を高齢者の認知機能に適用して研究した例はないが、認知機能の低下を伴う高齢者には体験過程の狭窄という意識の特徴があることが示唆された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In Japan, psychological assistance for the elderly has gained increasing attention with the rapidly aging population. This paper studies the manner of experiencing from interviews with two elderly persons with impaired cognitive functioning. The interviews are with a man in his nineties with supposed attention disorder and a woman in her seventies with reported episodes of impaired memory. The interview with the elderly man with impaired cognitive functioning suggests 'structure bound experiencing' as observed by Eugene Gendlin, an American philosopher and psychotherapist. In such a mode of experiencing, he cannot come into touch with his feelings, and narrates the same contents despite changes in the situation. The elderly women was able to express her feelings, suggesting a milder degree of structure bound experiencing. It can be suggested that the more the degree of structure bound experiencing, the more the difficulty in recoving the implicit functions of experiencing. Although no studies have previously considered impaired cognitive functioning in the elderly from the viewpoint of structure bound experiencing, this paper suggests that impaired cognitive functioning can be characterized as a mode of consciousness with constricted experiencing. | |||||
