| 内容記述 | This paper researched on the Chinese terminologies Li Ke and Li Xue initiated from Giulio Aleni’s work. Both words were translated from the Latin word philosophia originally and meant philosophy and science. As Aleni’s works Zhifangwaiji and Xixuefan spread over to Japan, the meanings of Li Ke and Li Xue shifted to science predominantly. The shifted translation entered into Chinese language as China absorbed Japanese education system afterward, which meant the meaning of Li Ke in modern China and the new cognition of Li Xue to science all derived from Japanese. | |||||
