| 内容記述 | 本論文の目的は、心理学の先行研究におけるユーモアの定義を概括し、用語と用法を整理して、概念を明確化することである。初めに、検索エンジンを用いて主題に関する147点の文献を収集し、研究手法と定義法にしたがい分類した。次に、定義の内容を整理して照合した。その結果、互いに相容れない複数の定義の存在が明らかとなった。そこで、語義を確認するため、英語辞書と日本語辞書を参照したところ、両言語間でユーモアの語義に相違があることがわかった。本研究が明らかにしたのは、次の3点である。(1)英語のhumorに相当する日本語の概念は「おかしさ／おかしみ」である。(2)日本語のユーモアは、英語のhumorと異なる語義を有している。(3)humor(おかしさ／おかしみ)という心的概念は既存の概念に置換不可能な特徴を持つ。これをふまえ、研究手法に関する示唆を記述した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Problems and Objectives Humor has been defined variously by researchers. The aim of this study is to summarize the definitions of humor of previous studies, and to revise the concept of humor as a psychological construct, describing its uniqueness. Methods and Results First, 147 articles were collected and divided according to the way of how to define humor. Each group of articles was compared to show that there are several contradictions among their definitions of humor. There seems to be some misconceptions about humor and needs to make a revision of its definition. Next, examination was demonstrated to clarify the concept of humor as a psychological construct. Finally, the details of uniqueness of the concept of humor were described and a few tips for researchers to approach humor experiences were proposed. | |||||
