| 内容記述 | Ethnic culture-loaded words and material culture-loaded words are two categories of vocabulary that are closely related to the lives of the people. Based on the translation strategies of loan-words and translation-words, this article traces the changes in the translation methods of these two categories of words in I Am a Cat in recent times. The investigation reveals that the translation methods of these two types of words change depending on the judgment of translators and the changing times. The reasons why these changes arise are analyzed in the concluding remarks. In general, the strategy of transliterating words is more commonly used because Chinese prefer to translate a foreign concept when it is introduced. | |||||
