Manaslu by the Japanese expedition in 1956 and the social influence of the series of the events from the point of view of the theory on "media event". Part (1) makes brief descriptions on the history of mountaineering in Japan, on the history of promoting the sports events and explorations by the Mainichi Newspaper, which supported the expedition to Mt. | 内容記述 | 本研究ノートでは、1956（昭和31）年当時の日本社会に大きなインパクトを与えた「マナスル登頂」に関わるメディア言説を分析するため、主として遠征に関する一連の新聞報道を取り上げる。さらに、その背景となる日本における「登山文化」の発展と、マナスル遠征を後援した毎日新聞のスポーツに関わる新聞事業の歴史も概説する。 | |||||
