| 内容記述 | The Japanese word “Koukoku,” which means the translation and coinage of advertising, was used after the Meiji Era instead of “Hirome,” which just means spread out. The author conducted an extensive literature review to document examples of Koukoku in the literature following the Meiji Era, and describes them in this paper. This effort may prepare the way for a deeper investigation in the form of media studies into the definition and meaning of advertising in Japanese society and culture. 広告という言葉はAdvertising の翻訳造語として、それまでの広目に代わって明治期以降日本社会で使用される。筆者は、今回、明治期以降の文芸の中にその用例を狩猟、観察する。この作業は今後のより深い広告に関する社会的文化的な定義と意味についてのメディア論的な検討を準備することとなる。 |
