| 内容記述 | BSE感染牛が日本で発見されてから5年半が経ち、BSE問題がようやく落ち着いた現在、BSEが人々に与えた影響を再検討する。新聞記事データベースを利用して記事内容を分析し、政府の初期対応の遅れ、徹底した牛検査、アメリカ牛輸入再開、人々のBSE不安、食品業界による牛肉偽装工作を検証し、BSE問題の背景には食の安全性に対する人々の懸念が存在していると論じた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Five and a half years have past since the first BSE cow was found in Japan. At present, BSE matters have been settled for the time being. The purpose of the present study was to reconsider BSE influences on people. From newspaper accounts, late reactions of the Japanese government in the early stages, thorough inspections on Japanese cows, the reopening of the importation of American beef, people's anxiety about BSE, and beef disguised by the food industry were investigated. I discuss concerns over food safety in the background of BSE matters. | |||||
