| 内容記述 | メタファーとシミリの違いは、メタファー研究において古くから重要な課題であるが (Aristotle, 1954) 近年、認知言語学の分野で、英語に関して、シミリを特定する表現が as やlike に限らず多岐にわたることを示す研究が相次いでいる (Goatly 1997, Cameron and Deignan 2003, Israel et al. 2004)。 一方、日本語において、このような表現が「ような」や「みたいだ」に止まらないことは旧来から指摘されている（中村 1997, 山梨 1998）。本稿では、メタファーの存在を示すこのような表現をメタファー明示表現と呼び、その種類を列挙する。さらに、新たに比喩化フレームという概念を導入することによって多岐にわたるメタファー明示表現が体系的に理解可能であることを示す。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Although the difference between metaphor and simile has been an important issue since the time of Aristotle, it has not been clear which phrases other than like or as form simile, Recent studies show that there is a wide variety for such phrases in English (Goatly 1997, Cameron and Deignan 2003, Israel et al,2004) and in Japanese (Nakamura 1977, Yamanashi 1988). In this paper, we term these phrases Metaphor Markers and I) compare studeis on English Metaphor Flags and Japanese Metaphor Flags;2) introduce a "metaphorization frame" which comprises of different cognitive and verbal actions as its parameters; 3) demonstrate that this metaphorization frame can give a notional and systematic understanding to what seem to be random lists of different typed of Metaphor Flags. | |||||
