| 内容記述 | Late Qing Dynasty, with the end of traditional feudal education and imperial examination system, western-style education reform had become an inevitable trend, and the status of Confucius, the former sacred tutor, inevitably declined. As a pioneer of education reform, Luo Zhenyu had to rethink Confucius' position in culture and education. By learning from Japanese educational experience and research works, Luo completed the transformation of Confucius from a traditional "Xian Shi" to a modern moral educator. He combined the "expert" Confucius with the "sage" Confucius, so that Confucius not only retained the traditional respect, but also obtained the modern identity to adapt to the trend. | |||||
