| 内容記述 | 本稿では、人びとが育んできた<風景の解読力>を地域の歴史や実践のなかから捉えなおし、その<語り継ぐ道>を築くための手がかりをえるために、遠州灘の海鳴り／波小僧伝承と、この伝承が残る浜松市篠原地区での実践をとりあげ、海や浜と地域住民との関係のあり様と変化について探った。その結果、この伝承が表象してきた海と人との関係は近代において希薄化しているものの、物理的存在として波音(海鳴り)がこの地域の音風景の「地」として、今後も当該地域における風景の解読力の基盤となりうることが示唆された。また、浜辺における住民の子ども時代の記憶が、風景とその解読力を語り継ぐうえで重要な意味を持つことが示唆された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this article, I cover the folklore of the rumbling of the Enshu-nada sea and the wave boy (Nami Kozo), and Shinohara, Hamamatsu City, where this story is based. I explore the changes in the relationship between the sea and the inhabitants, to rethink the "comprehension of the landscape" that people have cultivated and obtain clues for building a "way to pass on." To this end, I propose that the landscape can be comprehended according to the sound of the waves. This sound is regarded as the "ground" of the soundscape of Shinohara. Despite this, the relationship between the sea and the residents, represented by the folklore, is diminishing. I also suggest that the childhood memories of the inhabitants on the beach have important implications for passing on the landscape and its comprehension. | |||||
