| 内容記述 | With the acceptance of Western civilization in China in the modern era, the education of girls in China began to change gradually. After the Opium Wars, churches in various places established missionary schools to propagate Christianity to the local people. This provided a place for women to learn, even when they were previously not entitled to an education. Later, women's studies were founded by local gentry, not by the church. In addition, the establishment of the legal status of women's education in the school system led to the initial development of women's education in the Shanxi region. During this period, merchants in the Shanxi region advocated women's studies and encouraged the establishment of girls' schools to provide new education. The most famous girls' primary school in Shanxi Province is Zhisheng girls' primary school, founded by the Changshi family. Which can be said to be the beginning of the development of modern Shanxi women's studies. | |||||
