| 内容記述 | Rojinden, written by Wataru Masuda in 1931 in Shanghai, was based on Lu Xun's personal statements, reviewed by Lu Xun himself, and revised to become the final manuscript. Before Rojinden was published in Kaizo magazine, the manuscript was shortened at the request of the editor. Condensing of the manuscript was not entirely Masuda's intention and seems to have been largely influenced by the editor. It is thought that there are various reasons for this abridgement. This paper is based on a survey of the Lu Xun manuscripts in the Kansai University Library. By taking some points that can be examined as examples, I focus on the contents that are only in the original manuscripts and examine why such contents might have been deleted. | |||||
