| 内容記述 | The Japanese art historian Minamoto Toyomune (1895-2001) is known for putting out a volume known as "Aesthetic of Autumn Flowers" (「秋草の美学」), which describes unique characteristics of Japanese art, specifically the autumn flower motif as a typical symbol of the Japanese aesthetic sense throughout art history. Prior to elucidating the aesthetics of autumn flowers created by Minamoto, it is an indispensable step to first learn about the formulation of his study. The purpose of this paper is to outline the personality and scholarship of Minamoto to discover the how and why behind his "Aesthetic of Autumn Flowers." | |||||
