| 内容記述 | 南房総の沿岸部には，浜勝浦のように集落名の頭に「浜」がつく集落がある。これは近世に形成されたもので，農業を主とする集団(岡方)と漁業を主とする集団(浜方)を内包する藩政村(岡・浜集落)のうち，浜方が分離独立したものか，浜方が岡方を凌駕したものである。1つの藩政村のなかに岡方と浜方を内包する例は高知県でもみられ，岡方に相当する郷分と，浜方に相当する浦分を合わせもつ村(郷・浦集落)がある。高知県の浦分は，近世の土佐藩による浦方支配によって成立したが，郷・浦集落は，郷分と浦分が1つの藩政村として設定された場合に生成した。南房総の浜方の形成，土佐藩における浦分の成立は，近世の漁業の発展が背景にあったが，土佐藩の郷・浦集落では，郷分から浦分が分離独立した事例はみられない。南房総の岡・浜集落では，近世に浜方の岡方からの分離の動きがあり，「浜」地名集落は分離独立が実現した事例であった。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | In the coastal parts of Minami-Boso, there are villages with "Hama-" at the beginning of their names, such as Hama-Katsuura. These villages formed in the early modern period, when the hamakata (a fishery-oriented group) became independent from the okakata (an agriculture-oriented group) or outnumbered them in administrative villages that included both okakata and hamakata (oka-hama villages). Similar villages with agriculture- and fishery-oriented groups (go-bun and ura-bun, respectively) are present in Kochi Prefecture. The ura-bun were established by the Tosa Domain's control of fishing and commerce in the early modern period's coastal villages, and villages combining go-bun and ura-bun (go-ura villages) were formed because both groups were organized as an administrative village at that time. The hamakata in Minami-Boso and the ura-bun in the Tosa Domain were established due to the development of the fishing industry in the early modern period; however, there are no examples of a separation of ura-bun from go-bun in the Tosa Domain. In the oka-hama villages of Minami-Boso, during the early modern period, there was a movement to separate the hamakata from the okakata. Therefore, villages with "Hama-" place names were cases where this separation and independence was achieved. | |||||||||
