| 内容記述 | 本稿では，青潮文化論が日本の地理教育にどのような役割を果たしうるかという問題意識のもとに，2022年から導入された高校の必履修科目「地理総合」の内容について分析した。具体的には，①日本人や日本のアイデンティティの問題を学習指導要領がどう受け止め，教科書がそれをどう記述しているか，②SDGs(持続可能な社会・地域づくり)の問題を学習指導要領がどう受け止め，教科書がそれをどう記述しているかという二つの課題について検討した。また，それらを通じて，地理教育と青潮文化論の関係性について再検討を行った。その結果，必修「地理総合」は，(ⅰ)日本人や日本のアイデンティティとなる日本の自然の素晴さを十分記述しないまま，負の側面である「災害大国・日本」を強調するきらいがあること，(ⅱ)SDGsにおいては文化面からのアプローチが不十分であり，まちづくりや観光といった地域振興が主要なテーマになっていることが確認された。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | In this paper, I analyzed the content of "General Geography," a compulsory high school subject that was introduced in 2022, with an awareness of the role that Aoshio culture theory can play in Japan's geography education. Specifically, I will examine ①how the Course of Study address issues of Japanese people and Japanese identity, and how textbooks describe them. And, ②how the Couse of Study address issues of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and how textbooks describe it. I considered those two issues through these studies. I also reconsidered the relationship between geography education and Aoshio culture theory. As a result, (ⅰ) the compulsory "General Geography" has a tendency to emphasize the negative aspects of "Japan as a disaster-prone country" without adequately describing the splendor of Japan's nature, which is the identity of Japanese people and Japan. In addition, (ⅱ) it was confirmed that the approach from the cultural aspect is insufficient in SDGs, and regional development such as town development and tourism has become the main theme. | |||||||||
