| 内容記述 | 本稿は徳島県立城西高等学校食品科学科が制作するクッキーを，JR徳島本線を走る観光列車『藍よしのがわトロッコ』車内で委託販売して貰うのを機に，同校総合学科での授業でクッキー案内チラシに歴史地理的沿線ガイドを掲載頒布するまでの授業過程を著したものである。生徒には歴史探究の授業内で沿線の通過駅ごとに見どころを短文で紹介してもらった。2022年4月より始まった「地理総合」では，徳島南部・高知県室戸市に至る地形を取り上げ，ICT機器やGIS手法を用いた授業を行い，その中でDMVという路線バスと列車とのハイブリッド型乗り物を紹介した。有名な場所ではなくても，自分がどのように拘わるかを広範囲に継続的に行うことで郷土愛や自己肯定感を育む教育実践として，利用客が少ないからこそできるサービスという発想で，地方の活性化に高校生が利用し易いサイクルトレインは有効だと結論づけ，今後も問題を提起し続けたい。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper describes the publishing and distribution of a guide detailing the geography and history of the JR Tokushima main line route, running around the Tokushima prefecture. This guide is currently being distributed to passengers on a train called the “Ai Yoshinogawa Torokko”, a sightseeing train, on the reverse side of a pamphlet, on which the front side has a description of cookies that are made in the food science kitchens at Josei High School (Tokushima Prefecture), that are presently being sold on the train. The preparation work of this guide was carried out between May and June of 2021 by Josei High School students. In a class called “Geography Synthesis”, that started in April 2022, students used ICT equipment, and used the GIS (Geography Information Systems) technique to research landforms along the main train route, that goes around the coast of Tokushima and Kochi. What they learned, and what this paper presents, is the possible use of train and bus networks (in the DMV region) within the prefectures, with the idea that people could travel more easily if there were “Cycle Trains”, where people could bring their bicycles onto trains, without having the inconvenience of covering their bikes, and expensive cycle bags. In comparison to more metropolitan areas in Japan, the users of these smaller railways may be small, but the analysis of the geography of the routes by students also helped broaden their viewpoints, allowed them to see the importance of the railway as a way of connecting people and places, showed them the outstanding natural beauty of their own prefectures, and portrayed them as a way to travel and explore beyond. | |||||||||
