| 内容記述 | 本論は、21世紀の国際経済学における代表的理論モデルであるMelitzモデルを、文化製品市場にあてはめ、文化多様性を考える上で重要な点について検討した。Melitzモデルでは、世界全体で生産される文化製品の数は、閉鎖経済のときと比べて、開放経済のときに少なくなる。また、開放経済において、世界中で消費される文化製品は同一化されていく。このモデルから、経済の大きな開放が文化多様性にとってよくない帰結をもたらしえる、という解釈も可能であることを指摘した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper applies the Melitz model to the cultural product market and examines several consequences of the model from the point of view of cultural diversity. In the Melitz model, fewer cultural products are produced worldwide in the open economy than in the closed economy. Furthermore, in the open economy, cultural products consumed all over the world become more the same. This paper pointed out that such consequences may have negative implications for cultural diversity in the global economy. | |||||
