| 内容記述 | In the burial chamber of Idout in Saqqara, many parts of the mural paintings with plaster have exfoliated from the wall, and many thin pieces of limestone lamina on the ceiling have fallen down through the longtime weathering of the mother rock. For safety in the restoration work and the future of the mural paintings, the stabilization of mother rock is a very important issue. We have already investigated the condition of the mother rock, and carried out reinforcement test with anchor bolt and epoxy resin on a part of the ceiling. On the basis of the investigation and the test, we carried out reinforcement with the anchor bolts in part of the western ceiling, which is the most unstable in the burial chamber. | |||||
