| 内容記述 | This paper examines the publication and propagation of Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy in modern Japan, using the two Ji Wang shengjiao xu published in Japan during the Taisho period as the object of study. Luo Zhenyu brought his collection of Ji Wang shengjiao xu to Japan, and together with Naito Konan, influenced the publication of Ji Wang shengjiao xu by Hakubundo, setting off a craze for Ji Wang shengjiao xu which was reprinted three times in one year. Besides, these publications of the Ji Wang shengjiao xu contain inscriptive writings, which reflect their methods of identification and concepts of connoisseurship. In the light of today’’s research findings and their reappraisal, it is clear that the Ji Wang shengjiao xu in Luo’s collection is not the finest rubbing. However, it has played a very important role in the interaction and connoisseurship of Chinese and Japanese calligraphy in modern times. In the dozen years following the publication of Luo’s collection, various Northern Song rubbings came into Japan and continued to enhance and refresh the vision of Luo and Japanese calligraphy and painting connoisseurship circles. Along with the boom in collotype printing of calligraphy and painting rubbings, although other Northern Song rubbings of the Ji Wang shengjiao xu were published, there is no other instance of several editions being printed in a year as with Luo’s collection, The revered classical rubbings became less valuable with the trend toward collotype printing over the decades, thus showing the change in calligraphic classics influenced by the popularization of techniques of modern printing of the engraved model-letters(fatie) and rubbings. | |||||||||||||
