| 内容記述 | The Daoist masters of the Orthodox Unity lineage distributed across Taiwan can be divided into broadly two types: the Black-head Daoist masters who perform both the living and deceased salvation rituals and the Red-head Daoist masters who only perform living salvation rituals and do not perform deceased salvation rituals. The former is distributed mainly in central and southern Taiwan and the latter in central and northern Taiwan, but the former is also present in small numbers in northern Taiwan. In this paper, among the Black-head Daoist masters distributed in the northern section of Taiwan, those mainly active in the Tamsui District are covered, and based on the author's field survey, a rudimentary examination was conducted exclusively on the deceased salvation ritual, "The Ritual of Merit" among the rituals they perform. First, an explanation is provided for the denominations, functions, and distribution of the Taiwanese Daoist, followed by an overview presented on the current situation of the Black-head Daoist masters in the Tamsui District. After demonstrating the program structure of the Ritual of Merit performed, the implementation method of each ritual is described with comparisons to similar rituals in southern Taiwan as appropriate. Finally, the characteristics of the Daoist Ritual of Merit in the Tamsui District are examined. | |||||
