| 内容記述 | 社会心理学的な立場から旅行者あるいは旅行者行動の諸特徴を包括的に記述する類型論が，実証的および理論的なアプローチによって展開されているが，本稿はその現状を概観することを目的としている。実証的には，クラスター分析にもとづく多くの類型化が提示されているが，それらの相互関連の検討や再確認が欠けているため，今後は，旅行者行動の諸分野の知見の体系化をふまえた類型化が必要であることが指摘された。また，理論的には，Cohen,E.による理念型の提唱が目立っているが，そうした論議をより広く展開するために，旅行者（ツーリスト）の概念の共通理解にもとづく「旅行者行動」の理論的枠組みの構成の必要性が強調された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The social-psychological approach to typologies of tourists and their behavior is overviewed. In the field of empirical research, many typologies investigated by cluster analysis have been published, but most of them were ad hoc and not re-confirmed. The present writer stresses the necessity of constructing a typology based on more systematic features of tourist behavior. In the field of theoretical research, a series of ideal types proposed by Cohen is reviewed, and in order to develop the discussion on the typology of tourist behavior, the necessity of having a common conception of "tourist" and creating a theoretical framework of "tourist behavior" is emphasized. | |||||
