| 内容記述 | 名づけの問題は，言語学，文化人類学，哲学，心理学など，おおくの分野の研究対象となってきたが，名づけをあつかう統合的や枠組みがないために，研究は断片的なものにとどまっている。本論文のシリーズでは，名づけの現象に認知科学的なみとうしを提供することをこころみる。今回は，言葉の意味について，ワードネットに具体化されているような古典的な見方と認知言語学的な見方を比較した。言葉の意味には， さまざまな側面がある。古典的な見方は，言葉の意味における，言葉と言葉の基本的な関係にかかわる静的で階層的な側面に焦点をあてるのにたいし，認知言語学の見方は，言葉と世界のインターフェースのよりダイナミックな側面に焦点をあてる。名づけは，おもに言葉の意味の，後者の側面と関連した現象であり，固定的で階層的な言葉の意味の体系のあちこちをつねに変化させていくちからである。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The problems of naming have been the subject matter in many disciplines: Linguistics, Cultural Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology, and so on. Yet a comprehensive theoretical frame is still lacking and many studies remain fragmentary. This series of papers tries to provide a cognitive scientific perspective on the naming phenomena. The present paper compares the two views of word meaning: i. e., the classical view as embodied in WordNet and cognitive linguistic view. It is shown that there are several aspects in word meaning. The classical view focuses on the basic static hierachical word-word relational aspects of meaning. Contrarily the cognitive linguistic view focuses on dynamic word-world interfacial aspects of meaning. Naming is a phenomenon that has much to do with the latter aspects of meaning and it is a factor which restructure the static hierachies of word meaning as ever. | |||||
