| 内容記述 | イマニュエル・ウォーラーステインの世界システム論から多大な影響を受けたグローバル・ヒストリー研究やワールド・ヒストリー研究が，過去十年ほどの間に著しい発展をみせている。そして，グローバル・ヒストリーやワールド・ヒストリーの分野では，空間や地域に関連する諸概念が重要度と影響力を増し，その概念の解釈を発展させたり，空間に関連する用語の使用が激増している。これが人文科学・社会科学の分野での空間論的転回や空間論的革命の結果であることは明らかである。ただし，グローバル・ヒストリーやワールド・ヒストリーで使用される空間や地域に関わる用語の使用には，若干の問題があるように思う。そこで，本稿では，世界システム論やグローバル・ヒストリー，ワールド・ヒストリーの分野での，空間に関する用語の最近の解釈と使用について検討する。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Over the last few decades we have witnessed the remarkable development of global history or world history research which have taken inspiration from Immanuel Wallerstein's modern world-system theory. The notion of "space" or "region" has become an influential universal principle in the field of recent global history and world history and scholars of these academic disiplines have often advanced an interpretation of space and region and used the language of space. It is obvious that it is the influences of spatial turn or spatial revolution in human and social sciences. But the use of the terms relating space and region as it has been applied by recent historians to the cases of global history and world history has several problems. So, we review recent developments in world-system theory, global history and world history to identify their use and interpretation of the language of space. | |||||
