| 内容記述 | Yamamoto Kyôzan (1863-1934) was a famous literati calligrapher and collector, and he has travelled to China seven times across Meiji, Taisho and Showa period. There were three fruitful meetings between Yamamoto Kyôzan and Wu Changshuo (1844～1927). Wu Changshuo played an important role in the formation of Kyôzan's Chinese literary network. Kyôzan and Wu had a common point on inscription, and Wu introduced various literatians to Kyôzan in order to spread the vision as a calligrapher. Kyôzan also expressed respect for Wu Changshuo of longing, and often seeking Wu's works and purchasing his works, and acquiring the spirit of art creation. It was thought that having fostered the aesthetic eyes and inquisitive spirit for the stone monument was incapable of replacing the real thing, and that it would have been great benefit to Kyôzan from the friendship with Wu Changshuo. Wu introduced the collection of stone monuments and books, was promoting the exchange of calligraphy culture between Japan and China. | |||||
