| 内容記述 | Vietnam Confucianism, different from Japan and Korea Confucianism, has not pursued Confucianism Classics interpretation and theorized philosophy so much so far. So, it is sometimes said that Vietnam Confucianism did not have own Confucian philosophy or has undeveloped. However, these are the opinions which focused on "Confucianism as a philosophical theory". Many researchers have suggested that the Vietnamese Confucians emphasis on 「詞章学」 and the characteristic of Vietnam Confucianism are "Confucianism as a social indoctrination means" and "Confucianism as an ethics morality". The thought of "Filial" and "Righteousness" plays a major role Vietnam Confucianism but "Filial" is in the higher position than "Righteousness" in aspect of "social indoctrination". Therefore, in order to clarify the feature of Vietnam Confucianism that is to say "Confucianism as ethics morality" and "Confucianism as a social indoctrination means"，we cannot miss the documents on education of "Filial" and textbooks that recommend “Filial" such as "The Twenty four Filial Exemplars" (｢二十四孝｣), "Classic of Filial Piety" (『孝経』), "Family precepts" (｢家訓｣), "Family civility" (｢家礼｣) and so on. However, among these textbooks that recommend "Filial, "The Twenty four Filial Exemplars" have been circulated and have a great influence on the people. In other words, we can say that "The Twenty four Filial Exemplars" is not “Confucianism as a philosophical theory" but it has been widely received in the society and played a major role in making Confucianism, especially "Filial" thought become widespread in Vietnam. And if so, we can say that a consideration about "The Twenty four Filial Exemplars" would be tied up the features of Vietnam Confucianism. |
