| 内容記述 | During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the population and the farmland area in the middle reaches of Heihe River Basin increased. Therefore, efficient use of the limited water supplies became increasingly important. In this paper, I discuss about the distribution methods of and the water irrigation management through the following points; government maintenance of the system, impartial water distribution based on a timetable, autonomous water management organizations in villages, forestry and embankment maintenance, and the enactment of regional rules for water usage. |
