| 内容記述 | Comparing with the Yoshida Shinto scholar Matsuoka Fumio’s (1701‒1783) Sinto Gakusoku Nippon-damashii, the present paper makes a thorough examination of Hyaku-ō issei ron by Goi Ranshū (1897‒1762), a Neo-Confucian professor at the Kaitokudō Academy in Osaka, and reevaluates Goi’s balanced sense of impartiality in dealing with such sensitive issues as the emperor-shogun relations and the Shintoism-Confucianism relations during a period when loyalism and ultra-nationalism were spreading their influence in the whole society. | |||||
