| 内容記述 | 日本人の社会貢献についての意識と行動についての国際的な位置づけを探索的に明らかにするため，日本・米国・韓国の3 か国の全国調査を用いて社会貢献に関わる意識と行動について国際比較分析を行った．ただし，この国際比較調査は，面接調査と電話調査の二種類のモードから構成されていたので，連鎖的な比較が採用されている．分析にあたっては，単純集計の比較と多重対応分析を用いた構造分析の相補的に活用する方法をとった．その結果，ボランティアや寄付といった利他的・慈善的行為について，日本や韓国よりも米国の方が意識と行動の両面で重視されていることが改めて確認された．ただし，米国では個人の権利が公共の利益よりも優先される傾向も強いため，各国の結果の含意についての解釈は異なる可能性があり，慎重さが求められる。This study analyzes the cross-national comparison of social contribution attitudes in Japan, the United States, and South Korea to clarify exploratory the international location of social contribution attitudes in Japan. The cross-national surveys comprise two modes: face-to-face and telephone. Thus, comparative linkage analysis is used. This study performed complementary analysis using both simple comparison of frequent distribution and multiple correspondence analysis. The analysis reconfirmed that altruistic or charitable activities, such as volunteer work or donation, are more valued in the United States than those in Japan and South Korea. Considering the results that individual rights are more valuable than public interests in the United States, interpretation of implications may differ for each country and require prudence. | |||||
