| 内容記述 | Kansai University has provided a new English on-line course: New Practical English by reallyenglish® since the spring of 2011. This on-line course offers 300 lessons across a wide variety of topics from business to everyday life to suit students’ varied interests and needs. Students are required to complete 50 lessons to pass the course and it takes 225 to 300 hours to complete the whole course. This program would be an ideal material for students who wish to develop their English language skills, and help them achieve a higher TOEIC score. In this article, I would like to explain how to use this program in the CALL classroom. And I shall report 28％ of the students in my two classes has worked positively to complete this program for two months, and show the records of their detailed progress of their achievement. Their records suggest how many lessons would be suitable for the semester, and the level of most lessons in this material is suitable for the students. However it is a fact that a few students have a difficulty in working out. Individual coaching from a teacher will be the key elements for successful e-Learning. |
