| 内容記述 | In the Muromachi period, sugar was shipped from Ming China due to the return of Japanese ships, but in the Edo period, a large amount of sugar was imported by Dutch ships and Chinese ships that came to Nagasaki. Later, in the early 18th century, Yoshimune Tokugawa promoted the domestic production of sugar, gradually promoting the production of domestically produced sugar in various regions and increasing its production value. However, even at the end of the Bunsei era (1829-1830), 9 Chinese ships that came to Nagasaki shipped 1.3 million catties of Chinese sugar, or more than 800 tons. Therefore, I would like to consider the import, distribution, and consumption of Chinese sugar through an analysis of trade results in Nagasaki. | |||||
