| 内容記述 | In the genre of translation literature, translations, which are rendered into new target languages, are often published constantly from one source language because changes in sentence expression and grammar in the target language often require new translations that match the times. By considering translations that continue to change with the times, it is possible to investigate the transition of translation norms. This paper takes up translations that were conducted based on different social backgrounds from the period spanning the Republic of China (1912) to the present day, by using Toury's descriptive translation methodology to examine Soseki Natsume's I Am a Cat. This is an attempt to compare and analyze the translations from a macro perspective and to consider the transition of translations over time. | |||||
