| 内容記述 | 本論文では、郵送調査法を用いて、信頼のふたつの理論的アプローチ―信頼の解き放ち理論と還元アプローチ―の検討を行った。解き放ち理論では、信頼は機会費用と社会的不確実性がともに高い社会において、人々の一般的信頼感が高くなると予測される。一方、還元アプローチでは、親密な人間関係の中で一般的信頼が育まれるとされる。本研究では、これらのアプローチを検討するために、大阪府内の4つの市町において、郵送調査を実施した。年収、教育年数、地域参加、近隣づきあいの程度をもとにクラスタ分析を行った結果、社会的資源と社会関係に関して共通したパターンをもつクラスタが導きだされた。それらのクラスタと信頼の対応関係の分析の結果、還元アプローチを支持する結果が得られた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This article examined two theoretical approaches to trust, the emancipation theory of trust and the reduction approach. The emancipation theory of trust predicts that the level of general trust is high in societies in which both social uncertainty and opportunity costs are high, whereas the reduction approach asserts that thick relationships between people nurture general trust. In order to examine these two theoretical approaches, a mail survey was conducted in four areas in Osaka prefecture. A cluster analysis was performed based on subjects' income, educational background, frequency of participation in community activities, and extent of neighborhood association. Members of each cluster shared a particular pattern of the levels of social resources and social relations in terms of the variables used in the analysis. Results of the examination of the relationship between cluster patterns and levels of general trust supported the reduction approach. | |||||
