| 内容記述 | 本研究は、2002年8月末から9月末にかけて4大新聞（朝日・産経・毎日・読売）の各紙で報じられた日本人拉致問題に関連する記事をすべて収集して、その「見出し」にあらわれた「荷重」（＝顕在的・潜在的な重みづけと価値評価の傾向）を定量的・定性的に分析する。4紙の荷重報道は、他紙に先駆け、あるいは後を追う形で報道合戦を繰りひろげながら一定の波動を描く形で展開する。推測されるように、拉致の被害家族と北朝鮮に対する報道姿勢において朝日と産経のあいだに対照的な差異が見出された。いずれにしても、開発した荷重グラフ上の波動を検討することから、複数のメディアがたがいに自他の視点をくり込みながら、「世論」とよばれる「現実」を多重輻穣的に形成していくプロセスを垣間見ることができる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | On September 17th 2002, the General Secretary of DPRK Kim Jon Il apologized to Jun'ichiro Koizumi for the Abduction of 13 Japanese citizens. A graphic expression, "Semio-graph", was devised and applied to provide a "visual representation" of the changing process of "news-weights" (=value) in terms of this Abduction. All the headlines (8.30-9.30, 2002) of major Japanese newspapers (Asahi, Sankei, Mainichi, Yomiuri) reporting the Abduction were analyzed. The frequency and area of the word Abduction (Rachi) itself were measured and mapped on to the "Semio-graphs" which enabled us to see the "spikes" of the agenda-setting and the general tendencies/attitudes of four newspapers against the Abduction. The Yomiuri and Sankei newspapers put heavier and earlier weights to "Rachi" compared to the Asahi and Mainichi newspapers. | |||||
