| 内容記述 | Railway transportation in Japan, carrying over 20 billion passengers for a year, is demanded high quality safety. The accident at Shigaraki Kohgen Railway, which occurred on May 14th in 1991, was a fatal trains collision. The cause of this accident was breakdown of railway signaling equipment and employees violated regulations of operation handling. There were 723 passengers on board at the time of the crash. 42 passengers were killed, and 519 others were injured. This study aims to learn lessons from above accident for safer railways. | |||||
