| 内容記述 | 大学院における教育と研究について,「知の実践」という観点から検討を行った.ここでは，社会人大学院生とその指導教員へのインタビューを通して，社会人大学院生たちが共有する知識観をたどった.彼・彼女らに共通しているのは，知識が自らの外側に存在するものであり大学院はそれを提供してくれる場であるということ，彼・彼女らの求める知識が実践的で現場の問題に解答を与えるような知識である，という点である.彼らのニーズに応える教育は，ただ知識を提供するだけでは事足りず，彼・彼女らを研究活動，つまり知識を生産する活動に引き込むことによってのみ成立する.そうした意味でも大学院は，知識を提供する場ではなく，知識を生産する場として自らを再定義すべきだというのが，本研究の結論である. | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to consider the relationship between education and research in a graduate school. Six interviews were held in two groups. Each group had three members，two were graduate students and one was their supervisor，and they were interviewed separately. All graduate students in this research have also full time jobs. They regard graduate school education as an occasion to learn practical knowledge and they are hopeful of finding a solution to problems they have faced in their job experiences. The only way to educate them is making themselves engaged in research，not learning. That's why graduate schools in Japan must now redefine itself as research institutions. | |||||
