| 内容記述 | 本稿は中期親子関係における相互援助のパターンを分析している。大阪郊外の茨木市に住む53～62歳の親を対象とし2000年に実施した調査データを用い、親と成人子との間の3種類の相互援助(経済的、実践的、情緒的)を分析対象とした。現代日本の中期親子関係では、子が多くの援助を受ける不均衡な相互援助関係が一般的であることがしばしば主張される。これに対して、本稿では多形的互酬性という別の仮説を提唱している。これは異なる資源領域にまたがって多様な交換のパターンが混在することで、全体的な互酬性が見えにくくなっているという仮説である。潜在クラス分析の結果、相互援助には6つのパターン類型が存在することが分かった。別居親子については「没交渉型」「汎交渉型」「依存型」の3つが析出され、同居親子については「間借り型」「共同型」「情愛型」の3つが析出された。これらの類型の析出は、現代日本の中期親子関係において、均衡のとれた多形的な交換が支配的な相互援助のパターンであることを示している。 \nThis paper analyzes the patterns of mutual helping relations between mid-life parents and their adult children. The data are derived from a survey of the 53-62 year old parents living at Ibaraki city，the suburban area of Osaka，in 2000，and three kinds of mutual helping behaviors are analyzed: financial，practical，and emotional. While some researchers have insisted that Japanese helping relations are generally unbalanced，where children get more resources than parents do，the author proposes here another hypothesis that they exchange equivalents on diverse realms. This diversity could conceal the balanced reciprocity. The author applied the latent class analysis and found six types of mutual helping patterns. They are labeled “low exchangers，” “high exchangers，” and“dependent on parent” for parent-child living apart， and labeled “room rental，”“cooperative，" and“affectional”for parent-child living together. The fact that these various types were distinguished suggests that balanced diverse exchanges predominate in helping relations between mid-life parents and their adult children in contemporary Japan. |
