This paper argues that a 'dynamic maintenance approach' is not only effective but a necessary way of crisis management nowadays. Contemporary organizations confront enormous difficulties because of the increase of complexities and uncertainties in the wider environment. Conventional frameworks of risk and crisis management share defects to cope with such complexities and uncertainties because they have assumed that their aim is to recover the ordinal state of each organization, therefore they depend on a 'static maintenance' approach.
