The four authors of this paper report what they teach in the introductory courses of sociology, and explore ways for better co-ordination through mutual review of their course contents. Furthermore, a half of the first-year students registered at the department of sociology were asked how far those introductory courses were coordinated with each other and helped them to understand sociology.
